I am yours, save me, for I have sought

your precepts.

THE BIBLE is the SUFFICIENT DIVINE VOICE over our lives.

Anything, comma, or letter added, will be worthy of doubt.

Therefore, we are satisfied with what we have received, knowing that the hidden

things are kept with GOD, and in His time, the HOLY SPIRIT who

inspires the writers, will open our minds to understanding (Deuteronomy

29:29).

All the Scriptures were contained in the LORD and it pleased HIM

to bring them to us in due time (2 Timothy 3:16).

The Psalmist instructs us in true things about the WORD:

a. “I AM YOURS” implies that we are

governed by GOD and HE will provide the correct methodology to reach us – “Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate

every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my

path.” (119:104,105)

b. BEING HIS

implies a person who follows orders and seeks ways not to err: “Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no

iniquity get dominion over me.” (119:133), “I call upon you; save me, and I will keep

your testimonies.” (119:146), “Let your

hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts.” (119:173).

c. That our

experience, whatever it may be, must originate in the LAW OF GOD, a LAW

that has no errors, and that is above even the most experienced voices: “I understand more than the aged, for I keep your

precepts.” (119:100), and that through DIVINE counsel we will achieve

PEACE, for “Great peace have those who love your law;

nothing can make them stumble.” (119:165).

d. And just like

Psalm 1, there is a relationship of pleasure in testifying of the Holy Writings: “My tongue will sing of your word, for all your

commandments are right.” (119:172) and when we have the impression of

having strayed, we just need to make a 180-degree turn and return to the PATH

(Revelation 2:1-7 and Luke 15:11-32), thinking “I have gone astray

like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I do not forget your

commandments.” (119:176).

I conclude by thinking of Psalm 19:14: “Let the

words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your

sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer!”.

Todas as Escrituras estavam encerradas no SENHOR e aprouve a ELE trazer a nós no devido tempo (2 Timóteo 3:16).

O Salmista nos instrui em coisas verdadeiras sobre a PALAVRA:

a. “SOU TEU”, implica que somos governados por DEUS e ELE trará a metodologia correta para nos alcançar – “Pelos teus mandamentos alcancei entendimento; por isso odeio todo falso caminho. Lâmpada para os meus pés é tua palavra, e luz para o meu caminho.” (119:104,105)

b. SER DELE, implica numa pessoa que segue ordens e busca meios para não errar: “Ordena os meus passos na tua palavra, e não se apodere de mim iniquidade alguma. (119:133), “A ti te invoquei; salva-me, e guardarei os teus testemunhos” (119:146), “Venha a tua mão socorrer-me, pois escolhi os teus preceitos.” (119:173).

c. Que nossa experiência, seja para o que for, deve ser originada na LEI DE DEUS, uma LEI que não tem erros, e que está acima até mesmo das vozes mais experientes: “Entendo mais do que os antigos; porque guardo os teus preceitos.” (119:100), e que pelos conselhos DIVINOS alcançaremos PAZ, pois “Muita paz têm os que amam a tua lei, e para eles não há tropeço.” (119:165).

d. E tal qual o Salmo 1, há uma relação de prazer em testemunhar dos Escritos Sagrados: “A minha língua falará da tua palavra, pois todos os teus mandamentos são justiça.” (119:172) e quando temos a impressão de termos nos afastado, basta dar um giro de 180 graus e retornar ao CAMINHO (Apocalipse 2:1-7 e Lucas 15:11-32), pensando “Desgarrei-me como a ovelha perdida; busca o teu servo, pois não me esqueci dos teus mandamentos.” (119:176).
